I remember that I went through this crazy Nut Butter (Mainly Peanut Butter and then Almond Butter) stage where I would just eat Jars of the stuff. I would crave it like the crazy, buy a jar, and finish it in a matter of a few days! I’d justify it by saying that I bought a healthy kind, but one time I bought a chocolate flavored one and it was delicious, but I felt disgusting afterward! Worse, my left thigh started to break out in hives! Enough was enough! Well thank GOODNESS for these mouthwatering HEALTHY nut butters!
Basically you choose a nut or a combination of nuts. I chose Walnuts in this case. It’s helpful also to soak your nuts for a few hours to soften them up, but I didn’t do that in this case.
1. Blend your chosen nuts (1 Cup)
2. Add in 5 Pitted Dates and Blend / Pulse the two together
3. Feel free to add in some Almond Milk (about 1/4 cup) to help it smoothen
4. You can also add in cacao powder, vanilla extract, agave nectar, salt, cinnamon, etc
And there you have it! You can spread it on dehydrated bread or just enjoy it by itself~
